【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthetestmethodforcablesdesignedtohaveintrinsicresistancetofireandintendedforuseasemergencycircuitsforalarm,lightingandcommunicationpurposes.Thisstandardisapplicabletocables,foremergencycircuits,ofratedvoltagenotexceeding600/1000V,includingthoseofratedvoltagebelow80V,andforemergencycircuitopticalcables.NOTEAlthoughtestproceduresforelectronicdataandcommunicationcablesandopticalfibrecablesaregiveninthisdocument,theseareasareunderactivedevelopmentandthegivenproceduresmaybesubjecttofuturereview.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletocablesintendedforuseinpublictelecommunicationsnetworks.Thetestmethodislimitedtocableswithanoveralldiameternotexceeding20mm.Thetestmethod,whichisbasedonthedirectimpingementofflamefromapropaneburnergivingaconstanttemperatureattackofanotional842°C,canbeusedforcablesforemergencycircuitsrequiredtocomplywithSubclause4.3.1.4.6(a)oftheInterpretativeDocumentforEssentialRequirementNo.2'SafetyinCaseofFire'(94/C62/01)oftheConstructionProductsDirective(89/106/EEC).Insuchcasesthetestmethodonlyapplies,formetallicconductorcables,tothosewithconductorsizesuptoandincluding2,5mm2.Foropticalcables,onlythe20mmdiameterlimitapplies.Thisstandardincludes(AnnexD)ameansoflinkingthemeasuredsurvivaltimetothefireresistanceclassificationforthesecables,asrequiredbySubclause4.3.1.4.6(a)of94/C62/01.Thestandardalsoincludes(AnnexE)ameansofapplyingawaterspraytothecableduringthetest.AlthoughthereisnorequirementundertheConstructionProductsDirectiveforcablestowithstandwaterspraywhenassessingresistancetofire,sucharequirementmaybeafeatureofparticularproductstandards.
