【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddefinesasystemsmanagementfunctionwhichmaybeusedbyanapplicationprocessinacentralizedordecentralizedenvironmenttointeractforthepurposesofsystems-management,asdefinedbyCCITTRec.X.700|ISO/IEC7498-4.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddefinestheresponsetimemonitoringfunctionthatconsistsofservices,functionalunits,genericdefinitionsandprotocols.ItispositionedintheapplicationlayerofITU-TRec.X.200|ISO/IEC7498andisdefinedaccordingtothemodelprovidedbyISO/IEC9545.TheroleofsystemsmanagementfunctionsaredescribedbyITU-TRec.X.701|ISO/IEC10040.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandard:-establishesuserrequirementsfortheresponsetimemonitoringfunction;-establishesamodelthatrelatestheservicesandgenericdefinitionsprovidedbythisfunctiontouserrequirements;-definestheservicesprovidedbythefunction;-definesgenericnotificationtype;and-specifiestheprotocolthatisnecessaryinordertoprovidetheservices.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddoesnot:-definethenatureofanyimplementationintendedtoprovidetheresponsetimemonitoringfunction;-specifythemannerinwhichmanagementisaccomplishedbytheuseoftheresponsetimemonitoring;-definethenatureofanyinteractionswhichresultintheuseoftheresponsetimemonitoring;-specifytheservicesnecessaryfortheestablishment,normalandabnormalreleaseofamanagementassociation;-precludethedefinitionoffurthernotificationtypes.ThefunctionsandthemanagementinformationdefinedinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandardinclude:-Summarizationoftheresponsetimeonanyrequestofinformationanditsmanagement;-Definitionoftherelationshiponresponsemonitoring;-Settingandmodificationofthemonitoringandthesummarizationconditions;-Schedulingofthemonitoringandthesummarization;and-Notificationwhenresponseinformationoritsstatisticalresultisoverathreshold.ThefunctionsandthemanagementinformationdefinedinthisRecommendation|InternationalStandarddonotinclude:-Managementinformationdefinitionsforsummarizationofresponsetimestatistical;-Howtoretrieveresponsetimeslocally(e.g.,thetestfunctiontoconfirmresponsetimes);and-Localmechanismstosummarizeinformationrelatedtotheresponserequestandresponse.
