【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtopreparespecimensfordeterminationofthebulkspecificgravityofacuredcompactedspecimen.ItcoversmodificationstoTestMethodD6925forpreparationofCMAbymeansoftheSGC.Thistestmethodisusefulformonitoringthedensityofthespecimenduringthecompactionprocess.ItissuitableforlaboratorydesignandfieldcontrolofCMA.Localend-usespecificationsshouldbedevelopedtoestablishconformancetothejobanduserrequirements.1.1Thistestmethodconcernsthepreparationandcompactionofcylindricalspecimensofdense-gradedcoldmixasphalt(CMA)usingtheSuperpavegyratorycompactor(SGC).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableforroadmixesorplantmixespreparedatambienttemperatures.1.3ThistestmethodalsoreferstothedeterminationofthebulkspecificgravityofthecompactedCMA.1.4ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretobeconsideredthestandard.1.5Aprecisionandbiasstatementforthistestmethodhasnotbeendevelopedatthistime.Therefore,thistestmethodshouldnotbeusedforacceptanceorrejectionofamaterialforpurchasingpurposes.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtoproducenotchedcompressivestrengthdataforstructuraldesignallowables,materialspecifications,researchanddevelopment,andqualityassurance.Factorsthatinfluencethenotchedcompressivestrengthandshallthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:material,methodsofmaterialfabrication,accuracyoflay-up,laminatestackingsequenceandoverallthickness,specimengeometry,(includingholediameter,diameter-to-thicknessratio,andwidth-to-diameterratio),specimenpreparation(especiallyofthehole),specimenconditioning,environmentoftesting,specimenalignmentandgripping,loadingprocedure,speedoftesting,timeattemperature,voidcontent,andvolumepercentreinforcement.Propertiesthatmaybederivedfromthistestmethodincludeopen-hole(notched)compressivestrength(OHC).1.1Thistestmethoddeterminestheopen-holecompressivestrengthofmultidirectionalpolymermatrixcompositelaminatesreinforcedbyhigh-modulusfibers.Thecompositematerialformsarelimitedtocontinuous-fiberordiscontinuous-fiber(tapeorfabric,orboth)reinforcedcompositesinwhichthelaminateisbalancedandsymmetricwithrespecttothetestdirection.Therangeofacceptabletestlaminatesandthicknessesaredescribedin8.2.1.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
